Mark is a highly qualified superannuation specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His detailed knowledge and experience comes from working hands on with self-managed superannuation funds on a daily basis.
Mark is a Specialist Member of the SMSF Association, a member of the National Tax & Accountants’ Association (NTAA) and a Registered Tax Agent specialising in superannuation. In addition Mark holds both a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
Mark has been employed by, and worked as a consultant for, a number of leading fund managers and superannuation funds within Australia, including Aviva, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, IOOF Investment Management and Plum Financial Services.
Mark’s other passions include following the mighty Bombers, being heavily involved in the running of the local cricket club, spending time with family and friends, and undertaking major projects around the home.
Alex is a personable and professional SMSF expert. Having completed his Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University, he went on to complete his CA and a Dip Ed in Financial Planning. Alex has held several senior roles at a number of SMSF businesses allowing him to bring together the experience required to serve our clients.
Accountant specialising in Tax and SMSF consulting since 2007. In the role of Business Services Tax Accountant Duc enjoys working through client and trustee problems to ensure funds remain compliant and up to date. Gaining his career beginning completing his Bachelor’s at Monash with a Commerce/Arts Degree, Duc went on to several industry roles specialising in tax and accounting advice.
Alicia completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Deakin University in Commerce majoring in accounting and finance in 2018. Alicia has a desire to grow her knowledge above income statements and balance sheets and understand what really drives success.
Alicia has a strong understanding of SMSFs and managing SMSF administration, she is a team member who is constantly looking to improve the work we do and how we do it.
Abra joined SMSF Engine in September 2019 and has over 5 years of experience specialising in Self-Managed Superannuation. He holds a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) from Central Queensland University.
Abra loves working with Engine because of the brilliant technologies in place to improve efficiencies for its clients. He works closely with advisers and clients from a range of alliance partners around Australia. Managing workflow, ensuring administration and compliance are in line with SMSF legislation and taxation rules.
Abra enjoys playing futsal, cricket and fitness training in the gym. He likes Australian rules football, but loves the Demons.
Linda joined SMSF Engine in December 2017, she has over 15 years of experience in Superannuation Administration. She is part of the support team for SMSF engine and enjoys her job immensely. She has worked in different administration roles including Payroll and Accounts.
Linda enjoys spending time with family and friends especially with her Granddaughter.
Brent Jones is the MD of Sequoia Professional Services which includes: Sequoia Superannuation, SMSF Engine, Constitute, NTAA Corporate, Docscentre, InterPrac General Insurance and InterPrac Corporate Insurances/PI Markets.
When we launched SMSF Engine it was done solely to meet the needs of accountants and advisors in their pursuit to create good outcomes for their SMSF clients at an affordable cost.
The business joins the technical skills required to maintain fund compliance with the passion for streamlined processes.

NTAA Corporate is an Incorporated Legal Practice with in house solicitors to oversee the establishment of and variations to Self Managed Superannuation Funds. NTAA Corporate also specialises in the establishment of Companies and Trusts.
